Gibson Gospel from 1995, in very good condition.
A nice electro-acoustic model taking up the typical forms of the Gibson flat-top with square shoulders, this instrument comes from the second production period from 1992 to 1997, the first having extended from 1974 to 1979. The overall construction of the guitar is relatively simple, with a spruce top in Natural finish, and mahogany back and sides. Note, the back has an atypical construction in that it is molded in the manner of the hollowbody models produced by the manufacturer (think ES-175). The headstock of the instrument features an inlaid Gibson logo in the style denoted script logo found on Gibson flat-tops in the second half of the 1930s. As for the active circuitry, the preamplifier includes controls for gain and tone as well as two filters (one bandpass, one notch) allowing you to sculpt the sound in various ways. The guitar has been fully setup in our workshop, and is in perfect playing condition.
Sold in its original Gibson hardshell case.
