José Ramirez class 1A classical guitar with its original label, dated 1972.
Since its introduction in the 1960s, this model has constituted a veritable standard among Spanish classical guitars, prescribed by concert pianist Andres Segovia himself.
It features a choice of materials of exceptional quality: red cedar top, rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, finely inlaid rosette. In excellent preserved and playing condition, the guitar is free of defects, breaks or cracks, only presenting a slight wear to the varnish and the neck. The guitar has been fully optimized for playing in our workshop, work including a planning of the fingerboard, the complete refretting of the instrument and the making of a set of bone nuts, allowing the perfect adjustment of the action and the intonation.
Sold in its original case.
