1974 Fender Telecaster, in very good condition.

This beautiful Blonde Tele left the Fullerton assembly line in early 1974. At that time, the CBS era was already in full swing, but the “standard” Telecaster remained in most of its characteristics unchanged since 1968 and always in the same line since its beginnings in the ’50s, something all the more glaring in view of the Thinline, Custom and Deluxe versions that appeared in 1968 and 1972 which in many ways upset the well-established paradigm of the model. Thus, the guitar presented here still has the maple neck bolted onto the body with the standard four-crew arrangement, and the x-shaped trussrod at the bottom of the neck before the bullet style trussrod, the seminal wiring consisting of two single coil pickups with volume and tone controls and the 3-way pickup selector. In short, only the weight of the guitar and the somewhat generous coat of varnish compared to what was previously in order indicate a transition from the Telecaster of the early days to an instrument of the 70s, although compared to other Fender models this one remained mainly unchanged in its essence.

The instrument is completely original, the pickups and the wiring are untouched, as they were on day one. Complete professional setup done in our workshop, in perfect playing condition. The ashtray bridge cover is included.

Sold in its original Fender hardshell case.
