Splendid Bourgeois OM Vintage German Spruce from 2007, in excellent condition.

Dana Bourgeois is among the first of the generation of luthiers to have reintroduced the OM shape, in line with the model produced by Martin between 1929 and 1933, at a time when most attention was still focused on dreadnoughts. It was precisely his Orchestra Models that built Bourgeois’ reputation after they received recognition by bluegrass legend Tony Rice.

We find on this instrument all the expected markers of the original style 28: spruce top (German Spruce here), Indian rosewood back and sides, a 14-fret neck, ebony belly bridge, binding with a herringbone pattern around the edge of the top, zigzag pattern adorning the bottom joint. Here we have a faithful modern interpretation of the guitar that in its time established a new paradigm for the American flat-top, masterfully built, well balanced in its construction and with a wonderful tone. A complete professional setup was done in our workshop, sold in perfect playing condition.

Sold in its original TKL hardshell case.
