Stunning Gibson ES-335 Dot from 1988, in very good condition.
The instrument is, in all its elements, very faithful to the ES-335TDN of the early days, that is to say the models produced in the period 1958-1961: a thinline body presenting a central beam, into which are mounted the two pickups (these are the infamous humbuckers, highly innovative at the time of their introduction in the 1950s), a double cutaway and the body-neck junction made at the 19th fret ensuring ease of play across the entire fingerboard. We also find the stud tailpiece, which will be replaced in 1965 by the trapeze tailpiece, and therefore constitutes a sizeable visual and functional marker for the model in its first version. For the rest, the top, sides and back of the guitar are made of a beautiful figured maple highlighted by the Natural finish, the mahogany neck has the classic dot style markings on its fretboard. Complete professional setup done in our workshop, in perfect playing condition.
Sold in its original Gibson hardshell case.
