Une belle guitare attribuée à Julian Gomez Ramirez, faite vers 1930, en très bon état.

Malgré l’absence de l’étiquette du luthier (la guitare n’a jamais quitté son atelier), la filiation ne fait aucun doute : outre les caractéristiques visibles (le motif en cercles concentriques de la rosace, la décoration sur le chevalet, la forme de la tête…), la technique et la qualité de facture qui sont absolument conformes au travail de Gomez Ramirez, la guitare est issue du fond d’atelier du luthier madrilène installé à Paris.
De par sa fourniture en bois exceptionnelle – épicéa pour la table et palissandre pour le fond et les éclisses, sa richesse tonale et son équilibre excellents, cet instrument porte le témoignage d’une grande époque dans la lutherie classique parisienne. Réglé et préparé par nos soins, en parfait état de jeu.

A beautiful guitar attributed to Julian Gomez Ramirez, built around 1930, in very good condition.

Despite there being no label formally tying this guitar to its maker, its origin is without doubt : all of the visible attributes of the instrument (the concentric circle motif around the soundhole, the decoration on the bridge, the shape of the head…), the technique and the quality of building are perfectly congruent with those employed by Gomez Ramirez – and if any doubt remained, this instrument was initially sold as part of Gomez Ramirez’s workshop contents.
From the woods used in its construction (spruce top, rosewood sides and back) to the tonal depth and balance of this guitar, it is a true testimony of one of the greatest periods of Parisian classical guitar making. Complete professional setup done at our workshop, in perfect playing condition.
